The CSS exam is the same paper for everyone. The preparation is not. Academies cluster in a handful of cities, and the aspirants who need feedback most are the ones furthest from anyone qualified to give it.
Choices
The topic you pick in the first ten minutes. The position you commit to. The evidence you spent months collecting, or didn't. Most marks are decided before the writing starts.

You do not get unlimited attempts at CSS, and the years between them are not free. Every paper you write unmarked is practice you cannot learn from — and a chance quietly spent.

Quotation leads you can verify
Quotation hunting eats hours. Duoprep names the thinker, paraphrases what they argued, and tells you which book or speech to confirm the wording in — because a misquoted line in the real exam costs marks.

Contradictions, circular arguments, false dilemmas, strawmen and sweeping claims — read at the level of meaning, with the exact sentence quoted back to you.
Statistics and sources are weighed, not counted. A philosophical essay isn't punished for lacking World Bank data, and unverifiable sources don't earn credibility they haven't proved.
Every adjustment to your score is recorded with its reason. Nothing moves your marks that you can't trace back to a rule.
How Duoprep turns examiner reports into feedback
Public FPSC examiner-report observations are mapped to defined feedback rules. Deterministic checks handle grammar and measurable requirements; interpretive review handles argument, relevance and evidence.
Each score adjustment is recorded in a ledger so users can see what changed the estimate. Duoprep scores are practice estimates, not official FPSC grades, and the product is not affiliated with or endorsed by FPSC.
The AI never gives you marks. Rules do.

Duoprep exists because of a gap I kept noticing. The CSS exam is meant to be the most level field in Pakistan — one paper, one standard, open to anyone who can pass it. But preparation is not level at all. The academies that teach essay writing sit in a handful of cities, and a marked essay is worth more than a hundred unmarked ones.
So an aspirant in Muzaffarabad or interior Sindh writes into silence. They practise hard, submit nothing, and find out what an examiner thinks only when the result arrives — by which point it is a year too late.
This is not a machine that replaces a teacher. It is the feedback that should have been there between attempts: consistent, immediate, and grounded in what public FPSC examiner reports have documented about the papers they mark. Rules where rules apply, judgement where judgement is needed, and honesty about which is which.
